EHK Sports Alum To Play For Pioneers in the WCHA

CHICAGO - EHK Sports Enterprises is proud to announce that Jon James has signed to play hockey for Denver University in the WCHA starting fall of 2003.  Jon is the 12th player to accept a Div I scholarship after playing with EHK Sports.

"Jon was a late add for us last year to go to Toronto, but we are glad we got him.  Jon proved to be one of our best scorers and fastest skaters." said EHK Sports CEO Eric H. Krupka, "Jon helped his Blue team greatly as they made a run at the title.  I know he will do great at Denver next year."

Jon played for EHK Sports at the 2002 Prospects Tournament in Toronto.  Jon has some of the best hands around, he can snipe and deke at will.  Jon plays for the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League, with other EHK Sports alumni, including David Meckler, Dane Smulick, Kyle Laughlin, Rob Rassey, Matt McIlvane & Billy Irish-Baker.  At 6'1"-175lbs Jon is agile enough to get around defenseman and snipe a goal.  Those skills helped Jon score 6 points in 31 games this past season.  Jon played for the Junior B Washington Little Capitals before coming to Chicago..  EHK Sports is proud to have Jon as part of our family and wish him the best of luck at Denver.
