Huron Hockey Unveils New Prep School EHK Sports Enterprises News Exclusive |
CHICAGO, IL - Huron Hockey has been working behind the scenes for the past 3 years building the profile and necessary back ground data that will provide the key business components of the opening of a full time educational and hockey academy in Embrun, Ontario. The CIAH will provide student/athletes interested in expanding their knowledge of hockey an opportunity to compete and play in the Ottawa District Hockey Association as well as graduate to the Central Junior A Hockey League.
The Academy will feature full time educational venues, a new two pad hockey facility, state of the art off ice training tools with residences and living quarters offered in a rural setting based just 20 minutes from the Capital of Canada.
Students will train under the games finest coaches utilizing Huron's time tested philosophy of hockey instruction by professional educators while at the same time earning a full time Ontario Secondary School Grade 12 diploma. Additional College credits designed to prepare you for higher education will also be offered.
The education as well as the hockey instruction will be of the highest quality and prepare students for their future University and or College curriculum. Consequently, we anticipate that this program will become a scouting mecca for universities and colleges across North America.
The CIAH will open it's doors in September of 2006 and will house students at the AA and AAA levels of Bantam, Midget and Junior A age hockey.
