CHICAGO, IL - EHK Sports is very proud and excited to announce that it has agreed to run a twenty team Midget Major tournament called the "USHN RedHawk Winter Fury" at the all new Ice Hockey Facility on the campus of Miami of Ohio University in Oxford, OH.  The event will take place Dec 27-30, 2006 and in its first year will be the premiere Holiday tournament.  Many top teams have already committed to coming to the event and will be named at a later date.

"We are very happy to do doing an event with Miami of Ohio and their new facility.", stated EHK Sports CEO Eric H. Krupka "It will allow us to work with old friends to fill a void that is there after Christmas in tournaments and its a great compliment to our Thanksgiving Challenge Cup which is the best tournament at its time every year."

EHK Sports CEO Eric Krupka has known Miami of Ohio Rink Director Barry Schutte for years, the two met when Mr. Schutte was the assistant for the Chicago Steel of the USHL.  When Mr. Schutte left last year to take the job running the brand new rinks at Miami of Ohio the two stayed in contact and formed a business relationship.
