EHK Sports Announces EHK Sports
Hockey Camps For Summer of 2006 EHK Sports Enterprises News Exclusive |
CHICAGO, IL - EHK Sports Enterprises is proud to announce its EHK Sports Hockey Camps for the summer of 2006.
On ice work will include a player to coach ratio of no less than three to one, comprised of sessions relating specifically to advanced hockey performance. This shall include, but not be limited to things such as skating (starts, balance, quickness, etc.), tactics (one on one play, puck protection, etc.), and team concepts (offensive and defensive zone play, special teams concerns, etc). The second part of this shall be daily small area games designed to draw upon the day’s teachings – reinforcing proper habits – along with controlled full ice scrimmages.
The off ice portion of this camp will set it apart from anything else currently available to players eager to experience something which can provide them with the tools necessary to succeed at the next stage of their lives, both on and off the ice. Aside from instruction on proper training techniques, testing, and program design for the individual – these sessions will cover nutritional demands of the athletes and supplementation questions. Daily video analysis shall include reviews of the day’s events which have transpired on the ice, be it individual review or team based review. The lecture section will cover topics which will benefit players long after they have chosen to leave the game. These include such topics recruiting, media, competition, and attitude.
The Prodigy Program staff has worked diligently to ensure that the individuals involved are all experts in their respective fields – providing the aspiring athlete with a weekend of immeasurable information and knowledge.
Ottawa, ON has two unique camp opportunities. The first is a DEFENSE ONLY camp where the EHK staff will work diligently with young athletes teaching the finer points of the position across a broad spectrum of topics including skating, puck skills, situational play, special teams, and checking. The second will be the our inaugural EHK Hockey Experience. This camp will follow the same guidelines as our other camps, covering topics such as skating, puck play, competition tactics, and small area games. Check out our 2006 Camp Locations for detailed information or download the brochure below.
